Airservices Australia works across every Australian state, both in major cities and in some of our most remote locations. We acknowledge and respect that in every location in which we operate we are on traditional lands, sea and air of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
To serve these communities we must be a leader in reconciliation and support all staff in developing their cultural awareness, understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the role they have played, and will play in the future of this country.
Airservices Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) 2021-23 identified critical factors that needed to be delivered. We are now finalising our next RAP through engaging with our First Nations peoples. We remain committed to undertaking a range of actions and initiatives that will enhance opportunities, build relationships and ensure the greatest levels of respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
While our new RAP is being finalised, we are continuing to implement our existing RAP commitments, undertake our reporting requirements and engage closely with relevant stakeholders to develop a sustainable and meaningful new RAP.
