Airservices Australia continues to advance on Culture Journey in 2026

Airservices Australia is continuing to strengthen its workplace culture through its organisation-wide Culture Improvement Program, launched in 2025 to accelerate progress toward a respectful, inclusive and psychologically safe environment for all employees.

This work builds on the foundations established through the independent reviews conducted by Elizabeth Broderick & Co., with all recommendations deemed substantially addressed by a 2025 Independent Review.

Chief Executive Officer Rob Sharp said the organisation’s culture journey is central to delivering for the aviation industry and supporting its people.

“Our culture is a critical enabler of our success,” Mr Sharp said.

“We are committed to creating a workplace where our people feel valued, supported and empowered to do their best work. While cultural change takes time, we are moving forward with purpose and strong alignment across the organisation.”

Key initiatives since the launch of the Culture Improvement Program include enhancements to the Culture Reform Board and culture governance, leadership capability development, a refreshed recognition program, and the rollout of role clarity cards.
