In line with our organisational value of "Safe Always", we took the decision to postpone the Airline/ATS Safety Forum at the start of this month with the east coast facing devastating floods. The impact of the floods are still being felt and we know that many people across our industry have supported flood victims and the recovery effort.

This is not the first time we have had to postpone the Airline/ATS Safety Forum but we are committed to hosting this invaluable opportunity to bring together our industry. We are pleased to announce that the 38th Airline/ATS Safety Forum will be held on 1^st and 2^nd June 2022 at the Emporium Southbank in Brisbane, Australia.

This year, the forum theme is ‘Resilience in our new normal’ where we will look to understand, communicate and manage the risks as traffic starts to increase.

Program/Agenda

This two-day event brings together aviation safety specialists, safety managers, operational managers and pilots with safety portfolios from across the Asia-Pacific region. We are fortunate at this year’s event to also be joined by aviation specialists from air navigation service providers, airports, and industry bodies.

The last 24 months have had dramatic impacts on our industry and we’ve had to adapt our ways of working. In addition, Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems, Urban Air Mobility, space flight and other new entrants are expanding and starting to gather pace. In recognition of this, the theme for the 38th Airline/ATS Safety Forum is ‘Resilience in our new normal’.

We are fortunate to have a number of expert speakers from a variety of backgrounds, including air traffic control, airlines, consultants and academia.  We will also conduct two workshops to drive further actions which will strengthen the safety and integrity of Australia’s Air Traffic Management system and those who operate within it.

Participation in this event is by invitation only. There is no registration fee to attend the forum, however, delegates are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.
