Airport Collaborative Decision Making

Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) is about partners and stakeholders at an airport working together more efficiently in the way they share and use data and information. The overall goal is to improve operational efficiencies at airports through reduced delays, improving the predictability of events during the progress of a flight and optimising the utilisation of resources and infrastructure.

Modelled on the Eurocontrol A-CDM concept, Airservices is looking to implement a Partner endorsed A-CDM capability at four of Australia’s busiest capital city airports (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth), and where a ground delay Program (GDP) currently operates.

Airservices is leading this activity on behalf of the A-CDM partners and stakeholders, with a Request for Proposal (RFP) currently being prepared for release to market late in 2017.
