Australian Organised Track Structure - AUSOTS

The Australian Organised Track Structure is a collection of daily generated Flex Tracks.

Through AUSOTS, Airservices Australia is able to produce tracks which obtain reductions in airlines fuel use by positioning the tracks with regard to forecast wind conditions rather than limiting flight planning to the current fixed route structure. Additionally by organising the Flex Track structure Airservices is able to enhance air traffic control separation assurance.

Currently Flex Tracks are published internationally between Australia and the Middle East and between Australia and South East Asia and domestically between Brisbane and Perth.
