Albury is situated on the Murray River, which forms the NSW/Victorian border, on the western edge of the Great Dividing Range.
The tower was opened in 1983. It is situated at the western end of the terminal, toward the western end of the airport.
Daily movements average between 80 - 120, depending on the level of light aircraft training.
Facilities
Albury’s runway is 07/25, which is 1900 metres long and 30 metres wide. Navaids are NDB, VOR and DME which provide approaches to both runways. There is a GPS NPA to Runway 25. There are four helipads.
