Airservices Very High Frequency (VHF) project won the national and Queensland state award in the Telecommunications Category.
2010
Three Airservices projects were recognised as among the nation’s best in the Defence/ Aerospace Category of 2010 AIPM awards.
The Tasmanian Wide Area Multilateration Project was named the state winner inTasmania. The project was also awarded overall Tasmanian Project of the Year and National Project of the Year in the Defence/Aerospace Category.
The Sunshine Coast Fire Station Project and the Automatic Dependant Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) project took out the Queenslandand Victorian state awards.
2009
Airservices projects were recognised as among the nation’s best in the Defence/ Aerospace Category of the 2009 awards.
The Fire Vehicle Replacement Project – Stage 3 was named the winner of the Defence/Aerospace best project award at the Queensland branch of AIPM.
The Satellite Transition 2008 Project won the President’s Award in theCanberra chapter of AIPM.
The Instrument Landing System Replacement Project received a high commendation in the Victorian awards.
2008
Airservices topped two states in the Defence/Aerospace category for the Australian Institute of Project Management Achievement Awards.
The Air Traffic Control Tower Simulator Project in Melbourne won the Project of the Year’ in the Defence/Aerospace category of the 2008 National Project Management Achievement Awards and was the state Victorian winner.
The Brisbane Air Traffic Services Centre – Drainage Rectification Project was the Defence/Aerospace Queensland category winner.
